Each evening during our month of considering what it means to be a true worshiper, I invite you to engage in the “Daily Examen,” a centuries old practice of reflecting on your day and where God was present:
For the last 10 minutes before going to bed, take a few minutes to think back over your day. Ask yourself these questions:
- Where did I experience God today?
- Where was I blessed?
- What times did I need Him the most?
And then spend just a few minutes in worship to thank Him for what He has done for you in this day. That is all. Just a simple act of reflection and worship to acknowledge that sometimes we are so busy we don’t realize He is in our midst.
Peace my friends!
