Brothers and Sisters,

We have prayer requests for two other churches.  How blessed we are to be part of the larger body of Christ..

1.  First Church of the Nazarene in Jasper was struck by lightning on Thursday and destroyed by fire.  Please keep this congregation in your prayers as they discern their next steps.

2.  Medical Missionaries from Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC left this morning for the Dominican Republic.  One of their main obstacles each year is the threat of having their medications seized once they get in country.  Please pray that they arrive safely and that they are able to get the health care to the people that need it.  

As we pray for both of these churches, may we also remember that we are all in the same business:  sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.  To God be the glory.
