Question for the day:  Do we recognize the presence of God in our emotions and feelings?

Grace and peace to you on this blessed day.  I know the Spirit of the Lord dwells closely with me because my joy overflows.  My heart is filled with peace, and my soul is filled with hope and anticipation for what lies ahead.

Many times, God speaks in dramatic ways with no words at all.  This is my soul connection, and I recognize the voice of God, not because I hear it – but because it resonates deep within me.

Almighty God,

Blessed are You, lover of my soul.  Praise to You, for You touch my heart in ways that are real and powerful.  As deep calls unto deep, speak life to me.  Lead me into this knowing of You that is personal, intimate, and transforming.  And Lord, help me to open my heart completely to You, do not allow me to hide parts of myself from Your transforming light.  And lead me deeper into the center of Your heart.
